Furthermore the idea that a vaccine will only work if the whole community is vaccinated is bogus. If it works, it works on the person receiving the vaccine. I think people are guilted into giving their newborns Hepatitis B vaccinations to protect "the community". That's ridiculous! you get Hepatitis B by having sex or doing IV (illegal) drugs. I don't think anyone's infant is in danger of giving or getting Hep B. Same goes for polio. We do not have polio in this country, therefore no one can get it, nor can they endanger anyone else by not getting the vaccine. It simply does not exist here.
